Peregrine Diamonds Ltd.(TSE:PGD ) announced that they have recovered a 1.15 Carat Diamond out of the Chidliak project, on southern Baffin Island.

With the Chinese diamond market exploding and decreasing output from some of the largest mining operations in the world, is the market heading towards “Peak Diamond.”
Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. (TSX:PGD) updated that the microdiamond results for the last four kimberlites, CH-13 through CH-16, discovered in 2009 on the 980,000 hectare Chidliak Project on Baffin Island, Nunavut, have now been received and three of the four kimberlites were found to be diamondiferous.
