50,000 carats per week being extracted from Chiadzwa

Mines and Mining Development Minister Obert Mpofu reported that the government is extracting between 50 000 and 60 000 carats of diamonds per week from Chiadzwa in Manicaland. Stornoway Diamond reported corporate updates

Stornoway Diamond Corporation revealed that in the recently released Quebec provincial budget for fiscal year 2009-2010 an allocation of $698 million dollars has been set aside for two road infrastructure projects in the north of Quebec, including the Route des Monts Otish from Chibougamau to the Otish Mountains.
